False humility

If your giving is out of "what can I give" instead of "what do they need," it is false humility, which is pride. Give to the needy, not because you need to give.

Can you run that by me again?

So much lately, when I have been in an instruction environment, it seems the person doing the instructing assumes I know stuff that actually don't, while at the same time assuming I don't know stuff that I actually. There is just a slight bit of miscommunication that I need to work on. How do I do that?

What is End?

Throughout my life, I used to think that the position of "The Ends Justifies the Means" was a valid premise, since the End would of course be noble. I have done a complete 180 on this recently. First, who defines the ends? But more importantly, I have come to realize that the Means is actually the Journey and the only End on Earth is Death of the physical body. Every choice I make has to be justified in itself. We are all on a Journey, and our blessing is gaining an opportunity to express the love of God to others on their Journey. The Ends never justify the means, for the means is in itself the end.
